Honorable Mayor Combs and Esteemed Council Members:
The Menlo Park Historical Association is pleased to announce the election of officers of the Board of Directors for calendar year 2021. They consist of
TIM JOHNSTON, as President. Tim is a long time Menlo Park resident, whose father and grandfather were also members of MPHA. He brings to the Board some outstanding ideas, enthusiasm and leadership skills. The year 2021 promises to see a host of new programs and services to the Menlo Park community.
MICHAEL DEMETER, as Vice-President. Michael is also a long time resident whose family goes back many years in the community. Michael is currently working on a display downtown in one of the merchants storefront windows.
LYDIA COOPER, as Treasurer. Lydia has been a MPHA member for many years. Her skills in overseeing the books and records of the organization helps it to run smoothly all year.
BO CRANE, as Secretary. Bo not only prepares the Board's monthly minutes, but is instrumental in many other ways, including being the author of several books, providing walking tours, etc.
In addition, other Board members head several important committees, including
JYM CLENDENIN, as webmaster,
MARTHA LANCESTREMERE, as office manager
FRANK HELFRICH, as Emeritus, and
JIM LEWIS, as immediate past president.
