Dear City Council,
Although I realize what an eyesore some of the newspaper racks have become, I urge you to not penalize our struggling and
valuable newspapers with fees and excessive permitting (a form of fees sometimes worse than cash fees).
There should be one permit for a given newspaper with multiple addresses on the single permit. It should be as easy as possible
to have a permit to distribute free press newspapers. There should be no fees for such a permit.
The citizens of Menlo Park deserve newspapers as an important information resource. Please be considerate.
