I’m writing to you as I’ve heard you want to reopen the downtown! Why? It just doesn’t make sense, instead of supporting the few shops/restaurants you will destroy down town completely. Walking down town which I do everyday needs more retail/restaurants and needs to be cleaner, we live in one of the most expensive areas in the country and our down town is just a joke, the streets are always dirt and the garbages are scarcely empties. Please consider keeping the restaurants which have worked so hard to make it work during the pandemic to survive and hoping to bring more business to the town as well.
