I’d like to express how wonderful it has been that Menlo Park allowed our local restaurants to extend dining services into the streets during the pandemic. I hope that you will consider keeping this going, at least through the summer months, as we continue to wait for vaccinations. My family looks forward to outdoor dining at least once a week, if not several. It has truly been a much needed respite from dining at home during this crazy time. And, given my husband and my age, we are not yet in the clear to receive the vaccine, let along our children. It is my understanding that surrounding cities, such as Palo Alto and Redwood City have already committed to extensions of outdoor dining through year end. Please keep Menlo Park in the same camp - or else we will be forced to give our business elsewhere.
