City Council & Planning Commision,
We look forward to having new neighbors at the Flood Park housing site at 320 Sheridan Drive.
The amount of time and effort that the city staff, planning commission, and city council have put into this effort is commendable and it is exciting that teachers and staff will be able to live near their work.
I bike to Belle Haven Elementary school using the Pedestrian Bridge and it is about a 5 minute bike ride and it is hugely convenient.
I understand some neighbors are still trying to block this project. But Council, city staff, the Fire District, and the Planning Commision has already approved it, and so I urge that Menlo Park move forward with the current plans and support teaching housing.
