Complete Streets Commissioners and City Council,
I am very appreciative that Coleman Ave is receiving so much attention and that change is in the near future. I have a child who currently uses Coleman every day as his school commute route and another child who will start the same commute route on Coleman next year. I am delighted that our young cyclists will have a safe and delineated space.
I ask that you consider a physical barrier between our young cyclists and vehicles. I fear that a stripe of paint in the road will not be sufficient protection should there be an accident.
