To: Menlo Park City council Members
I am writing to express my support for the initiative to establish a quiet zone restricting the use of train horns while passing through Menlo Park rail crossings.
While I realize that there are safety reason for the horns, I find them disruptive late at night and they regularly wake us up, resulting in sleep deprivation and disjointed sleep.
To quote Andrew Fraser: Atherton established a Quiet Zone at Fair Oaks lane in 2016, proving that it can be done safely.
