Hello Council members,
I’m writing as a concerned homeowner in the Felton Gables neighborhood of Menlo Park. We have lived here for nearly 19 years, and as much as we cherish our neighborhood and the city of Menlo Park…the train’s noise is an ongoing battle.
We usually sleep with our windows open even during the winter time, to take advantage of the fresh air and reduce energy costs. As we grow older, the train’s horns continue to keep us awake. Even when walking our dogs, I feel I have to cover my ears from the noise. The trains horns are excessive, to say the least. Please help bring this to an end! We are hopeful there is a resolution in the near future.
