Hello Council Members,
I'm a resident of the Park Forest neighborhood. I live a block from the train. I clench my jaw every time I hear the train horn. I don't see any reasons for allowing this awful noise pollution in our environs when there are proven alternatives that would ensure safe crossing.
Approving quiet zones for the Menlo Park crossing would significantly increase the quality of life for so many - it is a doable thing as has been shown in Atherton and other parts of the state. Please lend your support to getting this done!
