I am a resident of Felton Gables and our quiet neighborhood is interrupted many times each day by train horns blasting. Having lived in California for the past 30 years, I like to sleep with the windows open at night in the warmer months to let in the fresh, cool air. But since moving near the train tracks 8 years ago, I keep all the windows tightly shut at night because the train horns continue throughout the night, and those middle of the night freight train horns are even louder and longer than the Caltrain ones. I urge you to consider pursuing a Quiet Zone in Menlo Park to improve our quality of life.
