For your neighbors who live near the train tracks the horn noise is a top quality of life issue. Especially in the evening hours there are periods between Caltrain and the freight trains it is far too loud. They also seem to now blast the horn for longer periods of time.
We would all appreciate your support in establishing a quiet zone and also getting the trains to abide by the law that states they can blast the horn for a very specific pattern at a limited decibel level. This should also include the crossing at Alma which impacts a large number of Menlo Park residents.
