Hi MP City Council,
I am leading a group of 8 Menlo Park 5th grade Girl Scouts who are working on their Girl Scout Bronze Award, the highest award at their level.
They have focused their bronze award to teach about ocean conservation. They did a beach cleanup in Half Moon Bay and then used the trash to create a mural called "Tides of Change" that shows one side dark depicting what happens when trash is in the ocean and one side "bright" depicting a happier ocean without trash.
They were wondering if they can share their work and message about ocean conservation with the City Council at an upcoming meeting. (photo attached of the mural).
