To Mayor Combs and Menlo Park City Council Members:
I am writing as 40 year resident of Menlo and as someone who is proud of the courageous CAP our city has proposed and supported. I feel strongly it is imperative for us all to commit to addressing climate change as aggressively as possible if we are to leave future residents and generations with an acceptable and safer quality of life. The four=part plan that is in place will do just that. My recommendation is to NOT weaken or change any of the existing CAP but look for creative solutions to current budget challenges. We must be courageous for the sake of our collective future!
