To the Menlo Park City Council

Dear Council Members,
Please do not halt any of the climate change measures you have already put in place. We are in a climate emergency whose effects have already caused great damage and suffering.
It is urgent that we reduce the use of fossil fuels and other kinds of pollution, as human life depends on clean air and water and a reasonable stable climate. Delay should not be an option and action by government is necessary. Individual actions and marketplace forces are clearly not enough. I want to be able to breathe the air and have clean water to drink and be safe from extreme weather events. This is already in question. Let's at least do our part here in Menlo Park.
