Dear Mayor and City Council,
This is to urge you to redouble your resolve to stick to the world-class climate action plan you adopted last year.
It took courage to adopt a bold plan - to set our beloved city apart as a clear leader on climate.
Now comes the challenging work of implementing the plan.
Other cities are looking to Menlo Park to see if we can put real action behind our words.
Please don't let them down. Don't let us down.
If we don't win on climate, nothing else will matter. All your good efforts in other areas will be for nothing, as fires, drought and sea level rise will overwhelm our city.
