Dear Mayor Coombs and members of the city council,
I am very concerned that Menlo Park’s city staff appears to be waffling on the implementation of our city'’s ground-breaking Climate Action Plan. And I am writing to plead with you not to alter the CAP.
Climate change is a huge threat to civilization and cities like Menlo Park need to play a central role in combatting it. I realize that some of the CAP’s elements will be challenging to fully implement. But this is where you need to engage the hundreds of concerned citizens like me and appropriate local organization like Menlo Spark in public outreach and program implementation activities.
Please continue moving forward with the CAP. Our children recounting on you!
