My wife and I chose to live in Menlo Park several years ago because we liked the small town-ness feel of this place. To that end, we are very concerned that not enough attention is being paid to the adverse consequences that will result from the Stanford development project. Specifically, we are very concerned that not enough work has been done to reduce the dramatic uptick in traffic that will be caused by this effort. Given that we live right across the street from where the project will be built, this will dramatically affect the livability that we have come to appreciate in the years that we have called Menlo Park home. Please hold Stanford to a standard that will honor all of Menlo Park’s residents needs and concerns.
