I am not sure of when you sent out your survey, but far more residents and businesses are against building on the parking lots then those who are against.
Why are you not acknowledging the petition of over 4,000 signatures who are against you taking over the parking lots for housing? Also, the fact that the
business owners purchased the parking lots and they are not owned by the city. Also, everytime I think you are finally listening to the majority of the
Menlo Park residents and businesses, you lose our trust in trying to push your agenda regardless of the majoritys wishes. I do not trust your
surveys and you are losing our trust.
Just note that $130,000 was raised in case we residents need legal counsel and that will be only the start.
I would like to feel more trust in this council, but I feel you are talking both sides of your mouth.
