Dear Council,
I understand the swim program is on tonights agenda. I have read the report, and understand the operator has suffered significant losses as a result of having to operate Belle Haven pool.
Please do not lose this community asset! To me, Menlo Swim and Sport is one of the highlights of my being a Menlo Park resident for 30 years. Its programs are a source of great pride, and as a result the pool is a bustling place of activity, serving a healthy, intergenerational community. Its employees are polite, helpful, and encouraging, always with a smile.
Please help Menlo Swim and Sport be successful for the benefit of all residents. It should not have to incur continuous losses and risk its very existence. That is a lose-lose proposition.
