City Council of Menlo Park;
We have been following the parking lot proposal and its use case. As a business owner, Menlo Park downtown patron and building owner we want to voice our opinion. We are sure it took some deliberation to come up with this idea. It is far from being a rational plan for the businesses and patrons of Menlo Park. We understand this state mandate has required cities and towns to make plans for this type of housing and the question is at what cost to the viability of the town, its businesses and residents.
We strongly request along with so many others to table this proposal as there are most certainly other options available.
