I am writing to express my concerns regarding the recent increase in crime in our community. My home was recently broken into, and I have learned that several other residents on the same street have experienced similar incidents in the same weekend. Conversations with the Deputy indicate a significant rise in criminal activity in our area.
In light of these events, my neighbors and I have requested increased patrolling during peak evening hours, particularly from 6 PM to 8 PM, especially during the past spring break. Unfortunately, we have not received a response to our requests.
We would like to understand how our tax dollars are being allocated to enhance the safety of families and children in our community. It is crucial to prevent more serious incidents beyond the theft of material goods.
