To Menlo Park City Council,
I am a resident of Menlo Park (Flood Triangle), and the mother of 2 kids at Laurel Elementary School. I am writing to express my support for the safety/mobility pilot project for Coleman Ave that will be discussed at the April 29 City Council meeting. The pilot project includes a number of items that will greatly increase safety for bikers and pedestrians along the city-controller portion of Coleman Ave. My son will be starting at Upper Laurel next year, and he will be biking there from our neighborhood, and I want to make sure he and his friends are as safe as possible. Making the street safer for bikes will take more cars off the road, and will make our streets safer for everyone.
