You have promoted Corporal Russell to Sergeant Russell. He violated a man’s civil rights and you promoted him? How can he be involved in any law-enforcement investigation? Defense attorney’s and public defenders will ask him about his behavior during every deposition, hearing, and trial he’s
involved in? He is the definition of reasonable doubt. After violating his sworn oath, how can he be involved in law-enforcement anymore? He should be placed on a Brady Giglio list. I’m tired of my tax dollars going to settle lawsuits because law-enforcement officers allow their egos to drive their decision making. I would like to know when supervisors will hold their subordinates accountable? Evidently, we need to hold the chief accountable for his subordinates either ignorance of the law or lack of training. He Is a direct reflection of the Chief’s leadership or lack there of! There’s a disconnect in this country between law-enforcement and the people. This is the reason why.
