Hi there,
I’m a parent of several Encinal students. We bike to school every morning and home every afternoon. The majority of our drive is on Laurel until we turn onto Encinal to get to the school. It can be very challenging biking alongside cars that regularly park in the bike lane. I am wondering if it is possible to make the bike lanes safer with a physical separation (like those poles that sometimes are installed for this purpose). I also noticed that cars drive incredibly fast on Encinal. The speed limit isn’t clearly posted, but I think it is still too fast for the amount of pedestrians and cyclists on this road. Are you able to help with this problem?
Thank you so much,
Sandy
