Dear City Council Members,
I wanted to write in support of the current proposed plan for affordable housing at the SRI campus. As part of a family of three stuck living with my husbands parents, we are in desperate need of affordable family housing for those making under 80% the current median income. Previous affordable housing (BMR) have had a truly terrible distribution of affordable housing, with almost all housing going to those earning at least 80% of the median income and a severe lack of family housing. This is an exciting project Ive been watching closely, and I hope that maybe someday our family could move into these homes.
I support the current plan.
