Mayor and Councilmembers,
I appreciate your continued efforts to improve housing in Menlo Park. With housing requirements coming from Sacramento, I think adding housing to our downtown is a logical and efficient choice to help meet that requirement.
I wonder if our community would benefit from a simple visual hosted on the city website showing the housing requirement for Menlo Park vs. the amount of housing we have built. It might emphasize the need for this space, especially when community members understand that *not* meeting our allocation opens us up to the possibility of Builders Remedy (such as the Willow Towers Project).
