Dear City Council members,
My wife and I are educators who have lived in Menlo Park for 17 years. It has been glaringly obvious the entire time that we have lived here that we have too little housing in the area. We NEED more housing, especially more affordable options. It feels like any time we make any progress towards actual sustainable growth in this area, the efforts get shouted down by NIMBY voices who are worried about their property values and short-sightedly afraid of any change. This is the time to actually make progress and grow our community.
