To whom it may concern,
I recently learned that the City plans to eliminate the Quiet Zone from its budget planning. This is outrageous and unacceptable! Residents have been advocating for a Quiet Zone for years.
The train horns are an unnecessary cause of noise pollution that profoundly affects the quality of lives and the health of countless Menlo Park residents and visits.
This is a critical issue that should be moved forward with priority.
