Hi City Council
I was informed this evening by a neighbor that she learned that the City
plans to eliminate the Quiet Zone from its budget planning. Is that correct?
If so, I find that displeasing and unacceptable.
Residents have been advocating for a Quiet Zone for years, and the
engineering designs are nearly complete. The last step is funding. Do not
drop the ball. Thousands of people want the train horns to stop.
