Dear Menlo Park City Council,
I just learned that the City plans to eliminate the Quiet Zone from its budget planning. This is outrageous and unacceptable! Residents have been advocating for a Quiet Zone for years, and the engineering designs are nearly complete. The last step is funding. Please do not drop the ball. Thousands of people want the train horns to stop. It’s not an unreasonable ask. Please honor what the residence/tax payers of the city of Menlo park have been fighting for, for years now.
