Dear Menlo Park City Council,
Our neighborhood of Felton Gables has many of the thousands of MP citizens who have been pleading for the train horns to stop. We are alarmed and extremely disappointed to learn of City plans to eliminate the Quiet Zone from its budget planning. With a surplus and other sources to provide the funding, and with engineering designs that are almost finished, we fail to understand why you would consider dropping this extremely important item that residents and businesses have for years supported and demanded. We urge you to keep the Quiet Zone IN THE BUDGET! We are so close!!
