Dear Mayor Combs and Honorable Council Members,
As Residential General Manager of Springline, home to more than 300 Menlo Park residents and numerous impactful commercial and retail tenants, I appreciate the City’s collaborative approach to projects that improve safety and quality of life. In that spirit of partnership, our team was pleased to help fund the Quiet Zone Implementation Study, and we remain committed to seeing the initiative realized.
The proposed Quiet Zone aligns with our shared goals—safer crossings, reduced noise, and a more welcoming environment for neighbors and businesses alike. Keeping the project in the five-year Capital Improvement Plan will allow all stakeholders, public and private, to build on the positive momentum we have created together.
On behalf of our residents and team, I respectfully encourage the Council to continue supporting the Quiet Zone and the cooperative model that has made Menlo Park a leader in thoughtful, community-focused planning.
Thank you for your ongoing service and for the opportunity to work alongside you in enhancing our city.
Warm regards,
