Dear City Officials,
As we, thankfully, return to normalcy, we are seeing the downtown parking lots begin to fill up again. And parking will continue to get worse as the residential developments surrounding the downtown come online, and more people start returning to work in the downtown offices.
I therefore ask the city to be careful about allowing parklets for non-restaurants. They are no longer justifiable for health reasons, and it is neither fair nor wise to sacrifice precious parking spaces. If people can't park, the amount of display space does not matter.
