Hi City Council,
My name is Georgia, and I’m a recently-graduated high school senior. I’m writing in hopes that this message will encourage you to allocate budget for more sustainability staff, so that we can implement the climate action plan.
As a young person, I know that the consequences of your decisions—particularly regarding the climate crisis—will have a profound impact on my future. By allocating money to support the climate action plan by funding staff, and implementing that plan, you have the power to further Menlo Park’s position as a desperately-needed leader in the climate movement.
