I am inviting you, as members of Menlo Park City Council to join me as VIP guests at a Vigil for Victims of Gun Violence on Sunday, Dec 16th at Lytton Plaza in Palo Alto. The vigil is being organized by our local Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America group and is co-sponsored by a number of civic groups and faith communities. If you are able to attend, we will recognize you from the stage so that your constituents in attendance see your support for this important issue. Since the Sandy Hook tragedy 6 years ago, over 600,000 Americans have been killed or injured by guns. We come together to give voice to all victims and survivors of gun violence. Speakers at the vigil include Assemblymember Marc Berman, Dr Dean Winslow, and high school student Miles Breen. I would be honored to have members from the Menlo Park City Council in attendance.
