I cannot emphasize enough the value that Menlo Swim and Sport provides to our community. It has created programs that meet and exceed the needs and expectations of residents of Menlo Park and nearby towns and county areas. While the joy of being in the water year round, 7 days a week is wonderful, the supportive relationships while at the pool make it the place so many of us want to be, and find our friendships and helpful neighbors. Please work with Menlo Swim and Sport to find a way to keep them solvent while managing programs at Belle Haven and Burgess swimming pools. If they are forced to leave because of financial limitations, you will find many of us following their owners and staff to whatever new location has the good fortune to work with them.
