Dear Members of the Menlo Park City Council,
Im writing to express how vital the Menlo-Atherton Cooperative Nursery
School is to both my family and the broader community. Families who attend
come from all walks of life, drawn by the school’s inclusive values and
deep roots in Menlo Park. Parents from the Co-op go on to become community
leaders—teachers, PTO presidents, coaches, and volunteers who help shape
our neighborhoods. Raising the school’s rent would greatly impact its
ability to keep tuition intentionally low and accessible to Menlo Park
families of diverse incomes. Please help preserve this special,
community-driven school that invests so fully in our children—and in Menlo
Park itself.
