Hello Council Members-
Several things I would like to say;
1) Please turn off the sprinklers when you have an event at Fremont
Park. Last Wednesday the Motown band had their equipment soaked and had to
pack so we did* not *get to enjoy the band the taxpayers paid for.
2) Saw your plans for the 600 block and how you want to plan to spend
our tax money. Most of it I would agree with, but the stage is a waste of
our money since we have a stage and programs in Fremont Park. Also, please
stay within the budget. We do NOT need financial waste and increased taxes.
3) The city sidewalks can really use cleaning. Please put this on a
regular schedule and keep our city clean.
4) The Menlo Park side of the viaduct at Alma Street has a lot of
garbage again. One week the garbage was cleared out (thank you) and the
next a different set of garbage appeared on the bank, down the side of the
bank (including a glass window) and at the bottom of the viaduct. It is a
beautiful spot and sad to see such disrespect for our land.
Your attention to these matters will be much appreciated.
