Hi City Council members and staff,
Im writing to bring attention and request resources to support our small businesses in the Willows neighborhood at Gilbert and Menalto aves. More specially, requesting immediate review and a temporary special permit granted for café Zoes outdoor street seating. Café Zoes has been over burdened to my understanding with the latest parklet regulations that adds tens of thousands of dollars to meet these new requirements, affecting their viability and longevity to stay in business.
Overall, we need to see greater promotion and support of our local Willows businesses in the form of out reach to the businesses and building owner(s).
