Thank you for serving on the council for our community. My children have historically been involved in the gymnastics program at Burgess. We eagerly await it’s reopening. I understand that Gold Star Gymnastics proposed running the program for the City and could get up and going soon. They have a strong track record of professionalism and safety, and as I understand, would save the City resources by not having to make them benefited employees at a time when pensions costs are perilous for the future of city finances. I would love to see the city strongly consider their proposal.
