Hello Councilmembers
Here are my two cents regarding Menlo Park homeowners being forced to replace gas cooking stoves with electric. Take a moment and look around you and beyond our own city limits at all the new housing in the area, much of which is all electric. Look around you and beyond at the increasing number of hybrid and all electric cars. Now look at the capabilities of PG&E to handle the current demand for electricity. Are you really going to force me to give up my ability to cook food for my family, and perhaps save a few items from my defrosting freezer due to a PG&E failure? That train of thought is completely illogical to me. Fix the grid first...then add load to it, not vice versa.
