Members of the Menlo Park City Council: Non-residential development in Menlo Park has been proceeding at a reckless pace, with new projects getting fastracked and little consideration given the cumulative impact of projects that have already been approved. Result: increased traffic, diminished quality of life for both residents and commuters, few (if any) benefits for our community as a whole. Adopting both moratoriums makes sense, and will give the council and city management a much-needed opportunity to step back and assess the longer-term direction Menlo Park wants to take.
