Dear City Council Members, I have lived in Menlo Park for almost 30 years. I am considering now moving because of the traffic and inability to just get around the city. I have worked in the past with the Council to develop plans for moderate and sustainable growth that will support our quality of life. At this moment all of those plans that we worked on as a community in the past seem to be getting ignored. I URGE YOU TO VOTE YES on both moratoriums this evening. The quality of our lives living in Menlo Park depend on your vote. It is only 'prudent' that council develop plans to solve our major issues of transportation, housing, and ability to drive in our city before adding more cars to our already clogged roads. Unfortunately I cannot attend the meeting tonight. If I could I would be speaking to Council with these comments. Thank you for considering this request.
