Dear City Council members, I sent an email two weeks ago in support of a moratorium on development in Menlo Park; and also a plea to get the banging manhole cover at 161 Willow fixed. To my surprise, about two days later, West bay Sanitary came out and put some sort of blue Gasket material under the cover and it has been quiet ever since! The least important of your problems, but has made a huge difference in the noise level along Willow for those living nearby. I want to thank you, the council for taking care of this and I wish you well in trying to put a moratorium on development, before a nice City is destroyed.
