Dear Madams/Sirs, I am the owner of 136 Stone Pine Lane and I am vehemently opposed to the plans for expansion of the Red Cottage property which abuts the beautiful parkland that we homeowners own and greatly value. There is seemingly an unwillingness to recognize the extent to which our privacy will be invaded/reduced by the plan as proposed. It is inconceivable to me that our properties’ economic value and our right to enjoy the ambience, peace and privacy we treasure can be disregarded by the Planning Commissioners and City Council Members. As property owners we constitute a substantial tax base for the city. I have no doubt that the anticipated tax revenue(s) from the planned Hampton Court Project, to the City of Menlo Park, including property, hotel tax and occupancy rates are being given preference over ours, the adjacent property owners.
