Thanks to you for supporting the Summer Concert Series in Fremont Park. The concerts are very well attended by an amazing variety of the very young, very old (like me), and everyone in between. We look forward to the concerts and plan our evening to enjoy the music and dinner in downtown Menlo Park each week.
Tonight is the last event for the year and I am writing to urge you to come to the park to see how great the concerts are for the community. Jen Mosso from your Library and Community Services team does a fantastic job managing the events. And tonight she is presenting a Beatles tribute band… and I know you like the Beatles!
I urge you to consider increasing the budget for the concerts to allow for more events next year. It would be fantastic to know that every Wednesday from May through October was a chance to get together with friends and neighbors in Fremont Park.
Thank you, again, for supporting community events. The concerts are very successful.
