Hi, I'm a resident of Palo Alto and wanted to write this email voicing my strong support for trying to keep Feldman's books open for the long term. Feldman's is a very a fantastic place. I've lived around the world and it is probably the best used book store I've come across. It is also a community building place, whenever I go there there are people causally browsing books, or sitting in the reading nooks and reading. It truly is a special place and would be a huge loss if it was unable to stay in operation. I would strongly urge the city council to try to keep Feldman's in its currently location, but if that is impossible to get assurance from the developer to find a new home for Feldman's in downtown Menlo Park.
