City Council: I have been made aware of a local family that is being forced to leave the home they have been renting so that the landlord can raise the rent before the tenant protection bill takes effect on January 1. Imagine how you would feel if you were evicted from your home, with little notice, in this area where affordable rentals are hard to come by. Please institute immediate protection for renters.
