The SRI Development never should have been approved without providing for
low income housing. There still is an opportunity to correct that by
requiring it now. The best way to accomplish that it is to require that
the developer donate enough land at the southern end of the property to the
city to allow the city to proceed with it’s plan for housing at an
appropriate location.
