I’m a resident of Atherton who does most of my shopping in Menlo Park. I
love the idea of people living in, over and among downtown businesses. I
think it keeps the area safer, more engaged, and makes a real community!
Witness the lovely vibe of the weekly Farmers Market! Menlo Park has the
added benefit of not being “too cute” yet; it still has everything you need
to live there: a library, grocery stores, a pharmacy, a hardware store, a
pet store and good coffee shops! It’s a walkable size. Please take this
opportunity to retain the human scale of this great town, in a humane way!
